Kano Deputy Governor Welcomes APC Defectors to NNPP

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has officially welcomed a large group of defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) into the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), marking a significant boost for the ruling party’s influence in the state.

The defectors, led by Bala Ladani Gwarzo, announced their decision during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor’s office. They hailed from ten wards in Gwarzo Local Government Area as well as surrounding communities. According to the group, their defection was motivated by their confidence in the leadership style and developmental strides of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration.

In his address, Deputy Governor Abdussalam expressed delight over their decision, describing it as a strong vote of confidence in the NNPP’s vision for the people of Kano State.
