The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially rewarded Anas Yusuf, the 21-year-old Nasarawa United striker, with ₦2 million after he finished the 2024/25 season as the league’s top scorer with 18 goals.
The award was presented at a ceremony in Abuja on September 2, 2025, where Remo Stars coach Daniel Ogunmodede was also honoured with ₦2 million for leading his side to their first-ever NPFL title.
Yusuf, who also bagged the prestigious Eunisell Boot Award in June, expressed gratitude for the recognition and vowed to aim higher in the upcoming season, setting his sights on scoring 20+ goals.
His remarkable form has also earned him a place in Nigeria’s 35-man provisional CHAN squad, further cementing his reputation as one of the country’s brightest football talents.
