CSP Benjamin Hundeyin Appointed New Police PRO

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the appointment of CSP Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).

Hundeyin, a seasoned communicator, holds a BA in English from Lagos State University and an MSc in Legal Criminology & Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He also earned a Certificate in Civil-Military Coordination and is a member of several professional bodies, including NIPR, IPRA, and CIPM.

He previously served as PPRO for Lagos State Command, PPRO Zone 2, and was part of the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur. The IGP urged him to use his wealth of experience to strengthen police-public relations across the country.

The Inspector-General expressed confidence in CSP Hundeyin’s capacity to enhance communication between the Force and the public, assuring Nigerians of more transparency and improved trust in police
