Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, surprised many guests at the wedding of singer Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola with glowing praise for the groom’s business empire.
Dangote admitted he never knew Mr Eazi was running ventures in 18 African countries, describing him as “a great and entrepreneurial guy.” He went further to predict that, in a few years, people would “take the back seat and call [Mr Eazi] the richest in the world.”
Beyond the compliments, Dangote advised the couple to keep their marriage private and handle issues discreetly. He also promised to host a lavish celebration for their first child anywhere in the world — from London to Miami or even back in Iceland where the wedding took place.
The remarks highlight how Mr Eazi’s influence now stretches far beyond music, cementing his status as both a global artist and a rising African business mogul.
