FAAN Boss Olubunmi Kuku Elected Vice President of ACI Africa
The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Olubunmi Kuku, has been elected Vice President of Airports Council International (ACI) Africa at the council’s conference in Lusaka, Zambia.
Her election also makes her a permanent member of the ACI World Governing Board, positioning Nigeria more prominently in global aviation decision-making.
Kuku’s new role is expected to advance aviation development across Africa, with emphasis on safety, connectivity, and innovation. She reaffirmed FAAN’s commitment to working with international partners to raise operational standards and improve passenger experiences at African airports.
The FAAN delegation, led by Kuku and senior management, actively participated in key sessions at the conference, engaging with global aviation leaders on strategies for sustainable growth, infrastructure development, and stronger collaboration among African airports.
