Netflix has unveiled an expanded Creative Asia program at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 2025, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing local talent and boosting film production standards across the Asia-Pacific region.

The initiative includes forums, masterclasses, and training sessions led by acclaimed filmmakers and industry leaders, offering a global platform for emerging voices in Asian cinema. According to BIFF program director Karen Park, Asian creativity has always been present but often overlooked — a trend now changing thanks to international platforms and shifting attitudes.
