Oluremi Tinubu Empowers 500 Enugu Women with ₦50,000 Business Grants
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has empowered 500 women in Enugu State with business support grants of ₦50,000 each through her Renewed Hope Initiative in collaboration with the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF).
The initiative, which targets women across the country, aims to strengthen small businesses, promote financial independence, and foster economic growth at the grassroots level.
Speaking during the empowerment program, Mrs. Tinubu emphasized that women play a critical role in nation-building and must be supported with opportunities to thrive in business. She encouraged beneficiaries to use the funds wisely to grow sustainable ventures that would, in turn, impact their families and communities.
The partnership with the Tony Elumelu Foundation underscores the administration’s commitment to entrepreneurship, job creation, and poverty reduction across Nigeria.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention to boost their small-scale businesses.
