Senate Minority Leader Reveals PDP’s 2027 Contenders

The Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro, has disclosed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is already weighing its options ahead of the 2027 presidential election. According to him, three prominent southern politicians are currently being considered for the party’s ticket.

The names mentioned include former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde. Moro noted that consultations are ongoing within the party to ensure that the PDP fields a strong candidate capable of uniting Nigerians and challenging the ruling party in 2027.
