Vice President Shettima Arrives in New York for UN General Assembly

Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has arrived in New York, United States, to participate in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Shettima is expected to represent President Bola Tinubu at high-level meetings and engagements with global leaders on key issues, including sustainable development, climate action, security, and economic cooperation.

During the week-long session, he will also hold bilateral talks aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s partnerships and advancing the country’s interests on the international stage.

The Vice President was received by senior Nigerian officials and diplomats upon arrival, with a schedule that includes meetings with investors, development partners, and other heads of government.
