Adeleke Appoints Puff-Puff Seller as Osun Government House Chef

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has appointed Ms. Oluwatosin Adejumo, a street puff-puff vendor with professional catering training, as a chef at the Government House in Osogbo.

Adejumo, popularly known in her community for her snacks business, came into the limelight after a chance encounter with the governor during a rally. Adeleke, impressed by her dedication, purchased her tray of puff-puff and promised to support her. That promise has now materialized into an official appointment.

In addition to the job offer, Governor Adeleke also granted Adejumo a full scholarship up to Master’s level, should she wish to further her education. He described her story as a reminder that “hard work and determination never go unnoticed.”

The appointment has been widely hailed as an inspirational gesture, with many describing it as a reflection of Adeleke’s people-oriented leadership and commitment to empowering ordinary citizens.
