INEC Records Over 4.4 Million Online Voter Pre-Registrations in Four Weeks

ABUJA – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced a major milestone in the ongoing nationwide voter registration exercise. According to the Commission, more than 4.4 million Nigerians have successfully completed their online pre-registration within just four weeks of the exercise.

In its latest update released on Monday, INEC disclosed that a total of 4,445,505 citizens had finalized their online pre-registration as of Sunday, September 14, 2025. The Commission described the figure as an encouraging sign of growing public interest and participation ahead of upcoming elections.

INEC reiterated its commitment to ensuring that every eligible Nigerian has the opportunity to register, urging those who have not yet begun the process to take advantage of the ongoing exercise.
