The Nigerian Armed Forces, in collaboration with the Joint Task Force (JTF), have successfully arrested notorious bandit leader Ifeanyi Okorienta, popularly known as “Gentle the Yahoo.”

The operation took place in the early hours of September 16, 2025, in Okigwe, Imo State, bringing an end to what authorities described as one of the most wanted criminal reigns in the South-East.
