Man arrested in Burbank for sniffing women’s buttocks

A 38-year-old registered sex offender, Calese Crowder, has been arrested again in Burbank, Los Angeles, just weeks after a similar case made headlines.

According to police, Crowder was taken into custody on Wednesday after employees at Walgreens reported him for inappropriate behavior inside the store. Officers tracked him down and arrested him hours later.

Crowder, who is already on parole, has a troubling record of arrests for butt sniffing in Burbank and Glendale dating back to 2021. This latest incident marks the second time in two months he has been accused of “butt sniffing.”

In July, he was detained after allegedly followed a woman inside Nordstrom Rack at the Burbank Empire Center, where witnesses say he crouched behind her and sniffed her buttocks.

He now faces a felony charge and is being held without bail as investigations continue
