MC Oluomo Denies Alliance with Peter Obi, Reaffirms Support for Tinubu

Musiliu Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo, the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), has publicly rejected claims that he has formed an alliance with Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 general elections. 

The controversy stems from a viral image showing MC Oluomo with Peter Obi, which many on social media interpreted as proof of a political alignment. However, MC Oluomo has stated the photo is manipulated and has no basis in reality. 

In a statement issued while he was abroad, MC Oluomo described the rumors as “false news” and said that neither did he meet Peter Obi nor receive any message of support from him. 

He concluded by reaffirming his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Hope Agenda, urging members of the public to rely on credible sources and fact-checking outlets.
