The Federal Government has commenced the review and validation of 26 trade syllabuses used in technical colleges nationwide.
The review, led by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), seeks to align training with modern industry needs, including renewable energy, robotics, smart agriculture, and ICT.
Officials explained that outdated syllabuses hinder graduates from being job-ready.
The updated curriculum is expected to bridge the gap between classroom training and workplace requirements, making graduates more competitive in Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
