NABTEB Exam Results Show Improved Mathematics and English Pass Rates

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released the results of the 2025 NBC/NTC in-school examinations, showing notable improvements in student performance.

Out of 92,875 candidates who registered, 89,621 were graded. Mathematics recorded a pass rate of 94.60%, while English Language saw 93.10%. In total, 68.18% of candidates earned at least five credits, including English and Mathematics, compared to 2024.

NABTEB also reported a slight reduction in examination malpractice cases.

The Registrar attributed the progress to renewed emphasis on technical and vocational education, calling for sustained government and industry collaboration to create more opportunities for skilled graduates.
