Sokoto Suspends Six Principals Over Misconduct
The Sokoto State Government has suspended six secondary school principals for alleged misconduct, including unauthorized collection of examination fees and insubordination.
Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Prof. Ahmad Ladan Ala, approved the suspension and directed the affected principals to hand over to their vice principals.
An investigative committee has been set up to probe the allegations and recommend further action. The government says the move is aimed at enforcing discipline and accountability in public schools.
